It's been a busy few weeks for Adept Medical!

Recently, our team visited Dr Glen Shlaphoff at Liverpool Hospital in Sydney to discuss the future of MRI-guided interventions (iMRI).

MRI guidance presents exciting opportunities for interventional radiology, particularly as it eliminates radiation exposure for clinical operators.

While there is still plenty of development ahead, we're excited to explore how our products could evolve to support this emerging technology.

There's a story to everything

Every innovation starts with an enquiry. When Dr Mark Webster approached Adept Medical, he wasn't looking to create another product. He saw an opportunity to make radial access easier for leading clinicians and more comfortable for patients.

That question brought together clinical insight with New Zealand design, engineering and manufacturing.

The result was the STARBoard.

Designed to solve a real clinical challenge, STARBoard continued to evolve into the STARSystem alongside advances in interventional care while staying true to its original purpose. Creating practical solutions that support clinicians and the patients they care for.
