Get to know the friendly face behind your care - Dr Farah Alqes!

Dr Farah graduated in Iraq in 2013 before moving to New Zealand, where she has worked across Auckland, North Shore and Starship hospitals in a wide range of specialties.

In 2020, she completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology through the University of Auckland.

Dr Farah has a special interest in women's health, including:
• Irregular and painful periods
• Contraception
• Menopause
• Healthy ageing

She also takes a holistic approach to aesthetic medicine, combining evidence-based cosmetic treatments with women's health, preventive care and general practice.
For Dr Farah, supporting healthy ageing goes beyond appearance. Her approach considers the whole person, including hormones, skin health, nutrition, lifestyle and emotional wellbeing, to help patients look and feel their best.

Outside of work, Dr Farah enjoys spending time with her daughter, family and friends, as well as keeping active through the gym and Pilates. She speaks both Arabic and English. 💙
