Mauli Bodywork Healing with Traditional Touch

Sometimes the hardest thing we'll ever do is release the version of ourselves that others expected us to be. Healing begins when we stop living for those expectations and start trusting who God created us to be ✨️🤍

Your body remembers what your mind had to forget. Healing is gently teaching it that today is different ✨️🤍

There's been a gentle theme weaving its way through many of the fofo sessions I've been honoured to hold.

Our bodies remember.

They remember the moments we've tried to move on from, the emotions we've tucked away, and the stories we've learned to carry in silence. Sometimes we've forgotten them consciously, yet the body continues to hold what the mind has long since buried.

As I work, I often notice areas that call for attention. Occasionally, I receive intuitive impressions or messages that I feel led to share if they arise naturally during your session.

Every session is different because every person's journey is different.

For me, fofo is more than bodywork. It's creating a space where your body feels safe enough to speak, your spirit feels seen, and you are gently invited to become aware of what may be ready to be acknowledged, honoured, and released.

Healing isn't about forcing or fixing.

It's about remembering who you were before life asked you to carry so much.

✨ May you feel safe.
✨ May you feel supported.
✨ May you release what no longer belongs to you.
✨ May you return home to yourself 🤍

A gentle reminder 🤍

You don’t always have to be strong.
You don’t always have to hold it all together.

Sometimes healing looks like slowing down.
Being held.
Being seen.
Allowing yourself to receive.

The same kindness you give so freely to others you deserve that too ✨

Lately I’ve been learning that not every season is meant to feel exciting.

Some seasons are for healing.
Some are for resting.
Some are for trusting when things feel uncertain.
And maybe growth doesn’t always look like moving fast. Sometimes growth looks like staying faithful, even when you can’t yet see the full picture.

Every season carries purpose, what ever season you are in,
A friendly reminder to be Kind to yourself ✨️🤍

Lighter
Held
Restored
Aligned

Nourished
Regulated
At peace

When the body feels safe,
it remembers how to soften.
How to release.
How to receive 🤍

Our bodies carry stories - of lessons learned, paths walked, heartbreak, resilience, and healing. Life may not always be a straight road, but sometimes the detours are exactly where the healing begins.
Honoured to hold space for the journey ✨️🤍

One thing this work has taught me - the body always knows.

The body remembers.
The body protects.
The body speaks.

It tells us when we’re carrying too much, when something feels out of alignment, when we need rest, release, or simply space to breathe.
What we ignore emotionally often finds its way into the body, asking to be acknowledged.

Healing isn’t always about “fixing” sometimes it’s about creating enough safety to listen, soften, release & reconnect to self.
Sometimes the greatest healing begins the moment we truly listen ✨️🤍

An intro to my new & old followers 🥰
Talofa lava I'm Maria the hands & heart behind Mauli Bodywork.

I talk to people’s nervous systems for a living apparently lol. Some call it massage, some call it fofo, some cry halfway through the session then apologise to me after & that is okay.
What started as “massage” slowly became something much deeper.
My sessions are intuitive, grounding, nurturing, and often emotional in ways words can’t always explain.
My offerings include intuitive bodywork, traditional Samoan fofo - fofō tōala, and energetic healing practices rooted in connection, presence & feeling.
I believe the body remembers everything. Sometimes all it needs is a safe space to finally exhale.

Fa'afetai lava for being here, whether you’ve followed recently or have supported quietly from the beginning.
This space is for softness, healing, laughter, release, restoration & coming home to yourself.
If you feel called let's connect.
