The SpinaReiki Method™ melds Reiki with craniosacral therapy concepts, with a special focus on sensing and working with the craniosacral rhythm.

SpinaReiki™ gently relaxes and realigns the spine while also helping the whole body. This unique approach recognizes Reiki as a life force that enlivens the cerebrospinal fluid, supporting deep healing at the core of the nervous system.

Come and join me for my next online training on Jan 23 and 24, 2027.

For my US/Canada students, this is a daytime event over two half days, and for the UK reiki community this is an evening training over two nights.

In loving memory of my adventure cat, Matisse. Six years in Spirit, always in my heart. When Matisse was 14, she was diagnosed with diabetes- something I later discovered is a relatively common genetic condition in Australasian Burmese cats.

Diabetes entails schedules, monitoring and adjusting- not only for your feline companion but also for you.

There can also be some unacknowledged grief, anger, guilt and/or resentment present when that diagnosis is made.

The most important thing we defined straight away was that she was still Matisse, but with a metabolic imbalance called diabetes and that she was NOT ‘diabetic’. We must always be careful about names and labels, as these labels can become identities. We should always see them as Divine perfection in a feline body.

Along with insulin, a holistic wellness programme became a big part in increasing her quality of life and to keep her thriving.

Matisse thrived so much that on one visit to the vet, when her prognosis was not considered good, she was dubbed a Miracle Cat.

📸She loved road trips and this is a photo her on a particularly memorable tour in New Zealand, Auckland to Rotorua to Lake Waikaramoana to Gisborne and back to Auckland again. A two day getaway that turned into a spontaneous 10 day adventure. Led all the way by Matisse. We warmed her subcutaneous fluids on the dashboard. 😂
