Hatha yoga is all about taking it slow and holding poses for longer periods, unlike the faster pace of flow-style yoga. It's perfect for beginners and anyone looking for a gentle way to relieve stress and connect with their body and mind.

In a classical Hatha yoga class, you'll have a choice of 84 different poses to help you stretch, strengthen, and deeply relax. It's a wonderful way to take care of yourself!

Feet and Legs as the foundation of every asana
The purpose of the class the class to awaken intelligence in the feet and legs while calming the nervous system. The feet are our connection with the earth. When they are awake and intelligent, the legs become stable, the pelvis balances, the spine lengthens and the breath becomes quieter. This class explores how the actions of the feet influence the knees, hips and lower back while building strength, mobility and balance.
Suitable for mixed-level practitioners with variations provided. Students can expect to:

Improve foot strength and awareness
Strengthen arches without gripping
Develop healthy knee alignment
Improve circulation after a day of sitting or standing
Create stability in standing poses
Reduce lower back strain through better leg action
Improve balance and proprioception
Leave feeling grounded rather than depleted
