Prime Recovery Clinic is now Auckland Wellness Centre.

Same hands, same philosophy, evolved practice. We officially rebranded in July 2024 to reflect our integrated wellness approach: chiropractic, acupuncture, massage, and spinal decompression all under one roof.

Cupping is a therapy used in Traditional Chinese Medicine to remove stagnation and stimulate the flow of energy(chi).

Cupping invigorates local circulation of chi and blood in the area being treated, resolving swelling, pain and tension. It removes toxins by drawing impurities to the surface.

Traditional Chinese Medicine is based on the theory that there is energy flow(chi) throughout the channels of the body which is known as meridians. A blockage or imbalance to the energy flow could lead to pain, stiffness, or tingling in certain areas of your body.

Acupuncture involves insertion of needles into the imbalanced or blocked channels to re-balance the energy flow throughout the body and activate our body’s natural healing process to help ease the pain and maintain optimum health.

At Prime Recovery Clinic, our acupuncturists will use various types of treatments depending on your need, from Traditional Chinese Medicine to incorporating modern technology including the use of TENS machine and Interferential Therapy.
