From a five-year-old having a go, to an athlete, advocate and leader πŸ’―

Jaden Movold has been part of the Halberg community for more than a decade β€” growing up through Halberg events, discovering his love of sport, joining the Youth Council and now continuing his journey as a Halberg Alumni member.

From wheelchair racing and the Halberg Games to leadership, advocacy and public speaking, Jaden’s journey is a powerful reminder of where a small opportunity can lead when you’re given the chance to explore what’s possible.

Today, he’s continuing to chase big goals in sport while using his experiences and voice to help create change for other young disabled people.

As Jaden says:

β€œHalberg will always be where some of the smallest opportunities led to some of the biggest parts of my life.” πŸ’™

Sometimes, one small change can make a very big difference πŸ’™πŸ’› Five-year-old Pyper recieved a Halberg Activity Fund grant to help her get a FreeWheel attachment for her wheelchair and it's already opening up a whole new world of possibilities.

From riding around the bike track and going over bumps independently, to joining her family on bush walks and getting out to the park with her sister, Pyper can now be part of the adventures she once had to watch from the sidelines.

πŸ’¬ As Pyper put it: "Now I can join in and have fun."

The Halberg Activity Fund helps young people with a physical or visual impairment access equipment, activities and experiences that enable them to be active and included.

If you or a young person you know could benefit from support to get active, find out more about the Halberg Activity Fund and apply today! Because everyone deserves the chance to join in 🌟
