If you value your personal freedoms you must read this (edited for readability) comment from a 'Non-Compliant person' on this post reads "17th July we were pulled over in a booze bus check. Passed as husband rarely drinks… I had had two drinks so was in passenger seat.
Police says we are going to do random drug test…. (Husband has never done drugs ever) We ask cop what is the test he says tongue scrape, we say what is on the test? Cop replies, litmus paper. We ask what is litmus and paper he says it’s just paper. We said it must have something on it to test for drugs. He shrugs his shoulders.
My husband offers to spit on the test instead or do a urine test or blood test the cop refuses and says no you have to do this test. We said no we are not happy with you putting a foreign object in husband‘s mouth. Could you show us the ingredients on the packet?
He shows us the packet that is made in Germany testing for co***ne methamphetamine THC and M**A but no list of ingredients so therefore we were not informed of what the test had in it.
The cop asks, so you are refusing their saliva test. My husband said no I am refusing this test but I’m happy to spit on it. Cop says no you do this test and gives my husband an instant $400 fine. 75 demerit points banned from driving for 12 hours. Tells me I have to drive. I said no I have had a drink so he makes us get our son-in-law to come up and get us, they test him for alcohol and then follows us home.
Today we received a letter for my husband threatening that they were going to take away his fi****ms license of which he’s held for many years threatening him for not being compliant! Because he did not comply to a saliva test therefore he is a non-compliant member of society and is too irresponsible to hold a fi****ms license!
At the very end of the letter it says I will let you off this time but you are not acting in accordance to being a compliant human or license holder.
This is nothing but harassment and bullying and needs to be stopped. We are now fearful of driving as all it will take is one ticket on my husband‘s behalf and he will have lost his license and yet he has done absolutely nothing wrong! Please keep up the good fight as there are many of us out there. No Doubt many have the same harrowing story. This is not the New Zealand we know we are born and bred in Auckland and have paid tax all our lives and now feel like aliens in our own country please help!
