A nourishing treat for a happy gut and healthy skin.
Glow from within with Nutritionist and Author of The Food Fountain of Youth, Lonneke Botello Hernandez’s Beauty Bomb Blueberry and Raspberry Chia Pudding. A delicious make-ahead breakfast or snack bursting with berry goodness and antioxidant power.
Ingredients (SERVES 2–4)
- 1 cup fresh or frozen mixed berries
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1 cup unsweetened coconut cream or coconut milk (or other plant-based milk)
- 5 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon raw honey, agave syrup or coconut sugar (optional)
- 2 heaped teaspoons LIFESTREAM Beauty Biotics
- Raspberries or blueberries (optional)
Method
1. Blend 1 cup of mixed berries in the milk of your choice, sweetener, cinnamon and vanilla essence for about 10 seconds, until smooth. Place the liquid into a sealable small bowl or container and whisk in the chia seeds, making sure to mix it all well to reduce clumping.
2. Then mix in the Beauty Biotics - ADD in LIFESTREAM Beauty Biotics 2 heaped teaspoons for the ultimate beauty hit!
3. Leave for five minutes, then mix again to ensure a smooth pudding.
4. Cover and leave in the refrigerator for a few hours to thicken (overnight is best). If you like your chia pudding thicker, add another tablespoon of chia seeds, mix well, and leave for a few hours more. If you like it thinner, add more milk and mix well.
5. Top with additional fresh or frozen raspberries, blueberries, and/or blackberries for the ultimate in anthocyanin superpower.
