I was chatting with a prospective osteopath last week over coffee.
(Yes, I do partake in coffee on the weekends, and decaf just doesn’t cut it!)
It was a good feeling to pause and reflect on how my current team works.
I was thinking about our four casual reception staff. They are all at university, studying completely different things, Law and English, Architecture and Design, Environmental Science, Commerce and International Business.
That’s a huge commitment from a study perspective.
And yet, we all work together to make sure the patients at Stillpoint receive the best reception coverage we can provide, while also supporting our staff to meet their other life commitments.
It requires flexibility, communication and understanding.
Running a business smoothly takes support, but it also takes a genuine willingness to make things work because we want our patients looked after, our osteopaths supported, and our staff to be able to pursue the other important parts of their lives.
Angela and Ashleigh are an important part of this picture too. Each term, they are willing to adjust their schedules to accommodate our casual team members and help us continue to provide the best service possible for you.
I’m proud of the team we’ve created at Stillpoint.
The things that happen behind the scenes are just as important as what happens in the treatment room.
