I did this quick video to explain one of the differences between lasers. I know it is hard to know what company to choose to do your laser but one of the things you should be asking about is what type of laser they have.
Articulated arms tend to be on higher quality lasers rather than the hose type of laser beam delivery.
The reason articulated arms deliver more power is because the laser beam is directed to the treatment area by a series of mirrors (normally 7 mirrors) this reduces the degradation of energy rather that the hose delivery system which forces the light (energy) down and around the tube before it gets to the treatment area.

This is a tattoo removal program that I have been doing with one of my lovely clients. Today we did treatment #8. We compared the photo of the tattoo before treatment began and then today after 7 treatments.

Firstly my client is really happy. There is absolutely NO Scarring and that was really important to her.

Secondly, the ink was really deep and very dark so it is taking a bit longer than I anticipated to remove. We are taking 3 months at least between treatments and she may only need a couple more treatments before it fades enough for her to feel she has had enough. She also had a tiny tattoo on her ankle that is faded to the point that the laser probably wont be useful but over time it will just fade on its own.

BTW... I charge $100 per treatment for this tattoo

GOT BAD BROWS? I can help with that...
These brows are not really that bad, I have seen much much worse. My client had them done about 20 years ago and it is very likely that they were done with tattoo ink.
We did a test patch 2 weeks ago and in the area I tested the ink basically disappeared so I knew it was going to be great. She came back yesterday and contacted me today to say how happy she was after one day. This means the ink should come out in two treatments. Yaaa. It was very easy though, as tattoo ink comes off brows quickly. The inks that are used in brows now days dont always make it so easy.
