Every woman I talk to over forty tells me some version of the same thing. Doing everything that used to work in her twenties. Still hitting a wall at 3pm, reaching for something sweet, or just too tired to keep going.
The common mistake isn’t overeating. It’s undereating, not enough protein, not enough food, full stop. That crash is blood sugar dropping too fast, and cortisol still running from a stressful morning. None of it shows up on a calorie tracker, so instead there’s just confusion. What’s wrong with my body? Is this just me now?
She’s not the problem. The rules changed with her hormones and her lifestyle, and nobody handed her the new instructions.
