People with shoulder length hair or longer, have you ever thought about what your handbag might be doing to your hair? 👜👀
It’s one of those little things we don’t really notice — but if you regularly carry your bag on the same shoulder, strands of hair can get caught underneath the strap and be repeatedly pulled, rubbed and snapped.
Over time, that friction can contribute to those annoying shorter broken pieces and split ends, particularly around one side of your hair.
A few simple habits can make a difference:
✨ Switch shoulders regularly
✨ Move your hair out of the way before putting your bag on
✨ Wear it up or in a low bun when carrying a shoulder bag
✨ Choose a wider or softer strap where possible
Sometimes protecting your hair isn’t about adding another product to your routine — it’s about noticing the little things we do every day. 🤎
Save this one for later — and check which shoulder your handbag is sitting on right now! 😂.
