Shingles vaccine is available at Northwest 7 Day Pharmacy

No booking needed. Available every day of the year, 8 am to 8 pm.

Shingles can be painful and may lead to long lasting nerve pain. The shingles vaccine is recommended for people aged 50 and over.

Funded for eligible people, including people aged 65 and some immunocompromised individuals. Talk to our team to check if you may be eligible for funding.

For non funded individuals: $299 per dose (2 doses required)

Prescription Medicine. Shingrix contains recombinant varicella zoster virus glycoprotein E antigen 50 micrograms with AS01B adjuvant system. It is used to help protect against shingles and post herpetic neuralgia. All medicines and vaccines have risks and benefits. Ask our pharmacist if this vaccine is suitable for you.

Zoe is one of our amazing team members at Northwest 7 Day Pharmacy and is currently studying at the University of Auckland on her journey to becoming a pharmacist!

She lives locally, loves spending time with her friends and family, and brings a great attitude to the team every day. Zoe is efficient, a fast learner, and always willing to help wherever she can.

Parents, did you know we can now help with more common health concerns directly at the pharmacy?

Our extended pharmacy services include advice and fully funded treatment for things like children’s pain and fever, oral rehydration, conjunctivitis in children, headlice, scabies, uncomplicated UTIs, and emergency contraception.

For eligible patients, the consultation and funded treatment are FREE.

We are open 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week, so help is close by when your family needs it.
