The renovation is complete! Day 15 photos of the finished project👷🏽‍♀️🏠

Thank you all for such a wonderful three weeks of work - sanding, painting, helping clean, coming out to join for a morning tea or a lunch! A massive thank you once again to MMM for such an incredible partnership to make this building work happen.

Photo Captions: These photos show a massive transformation of the front exterior of the Elevate centre. The cracked paint has been replaced by a beautiful light grey on the weatherboards and the window frames are a crisp white colour.

The interior of the building shows a nice soft light green colour on the walls, with white panelling on the bottom half of the wall. The reception has a lower reception desk, an accessible height for all our staff and visitors.

Here are some awesome photos from the Elevate Youth Collective's time at Eastern Beach, the Auckland Domain, volunteering at our local library, and at the visit to Will and Able! Term two has been busy, but very cool as we grow as a group!

We welcome the application of any young person with a cognitive disability to apply to join us each Thursday. Find out more details by visiting our website 💻☺️

Day nine progress photos of the Elevate centre in Onehunga, Auckland. A huge thank you to the amazing twelve volunteers (who brought along their friends to help too) and family members who helped out this week across various days and times! You are greatly appreciated 💞

And of course, thanks to the MMM team, who are an outstanding, hard-working bunch of Christian builders, and qualified tradespeople who are volunteering their time to help renovate our place.

We encourage you to consider donating to MMM, or signing up to receive their magazines and help grow their community, or consider volunteering at a future project of theirs...

These are great things to do to support them and pay it forward - as they have been such a help to us!

Day four is done! Time for a long weekend for all the hard working MMM team and our volunteers. Thank you all for an awesome first week of progress! 🥹

Image Descriptions: These images show massive change in the Elevate centre inside reception, Director’s office, staff office, and front view of the building.

Wallpaper has been removed, sanding and plastering is done, and some first undercoats have been popped on the interior windows!

The outside of the building has been power washed as a first step to help remove all the cracked external paintwork.

There has also been new framing popped in where needed, and a great tidy up of old electrical systems to make our place orderily.
