Trixie had every intention of going for a walk.

Then she looked outside.

🌧️ Rain.

💨 Wind.

🥶 Cold.

Suddenly staying inside seemed like a much better idea!

The problem is that if we wait for perfect conditions, we can end up waiting a very long time.

💥Not just for exercise.

💥For healthy eating.

💥For meal planning.

💥For strength training.

💥For getting started.

💥For making changes.

Sometimes progress means doing it anyway.

Not because it's easy.

Not because you feel motivated.

But because the future version of you will be glad you did.

The truth is, the days that count most are often the days when you don't really feel like it.

🤣🤣 There was just one small flaw in my plan to make leek and potato soup...

My Instant Pot is currently busy fermenting soy yoghurt, and I don't yet own a soup pot for the new induction hob. 🤦‍♀️

So, like any resourceful home chef, I improvised!

Thankfully, the wok is big enough. 😆🥔🥬

Currently I’m playing around with my food choices to tidy up some weight gain - I prefer to do this before it gets ‘too hard’.

HOW?
✅Diluting calories but not food volume with broccoli.
✅High fibre, quality plant based protein sources to keep me full for at least 4 hours.
✅Not ‘starving’ myself - I can get into a calorie deficit just by adjusting my choices - the secret is non-starchy veg.
