After spending a night at a 24 hour spa in Shenzhen, we went to η«η’½β€’εœ’ Huo Xi Yuan for their famous δ»™ιΆ΄η₯žι‡ - Braised squab stuffed with shark's fin.

δ»™ιΆ΄η₯žι‡ (xiān hΓ¨ shΓ©n zhΔ“n): This literally translates to "Heavenly Crane, Magic Needle." This fanciful name refers to the dish's appearance: a small, whole bird (the squab) is prepared to look pristine, like a magical crane, and stuffed with a precious ingredient (the shark's fin), which is likened to a "magic needle".

We were most impressed with their jelly fish we had to order a second plate, then followed by the Crunchy rice in lobster broth.

Customer service was next level, they even give you a ring light to take photos with πŸ˜†πŸ«Ά

Hey πŸ‘‹ it's been ages since my last post. I've been MIA due to sports injuries and I had little to zero motivation to do anything other than binge watching TV and sleep πŸ˜–

Next week I'm off to Hong Kong and Seoul where I have booked to making my own perfume and getting portraits taken (my auntie wanted that).

My work-switch is still off at the moment πŸͺ« I am still chilling after 4 weeks of travels back in January.

Last year, I worked non-stop from April to November. I traveled around the country filming and sharing the stories of NZ Lash Artists. I Spoke at the Aotearoa Lash Conference and have done a series of webinars.

On Sunday, I met up with other fellow Lash Artists at The Lash Lunch. Thanks to the girls, I am finally getting some new inspirations to start my 2025 πŸ’—
