My vision is to establish a clear presence of authentic traditional yoga alongside more modern evolutionary forms, both nationally and internationally. Sharing my love of yoga through stimulating inquiry, passing on knowledge and wisdom related to the breadth and depth of Yoga and encouraging others to find the practices and philosophical elements that they can embody to improve the quality of the

ir life, and of those around them. Sannyasi Pragyadhara is an initiated spiritual seeker who has embodied yogic wisdom through traditional yogic training under the ancient Gurukul system. Application and expression of this embodied wisdom includes both academic, teachers training and community settings. Its a privilege and joy to share this journey with others weather they are looking for stress relief, to relax and unwind, to transform in a natural way or to deepen into a spiritual path. As a transformational technology yoga has served humanity well and will continue to do so as the culture of tomorrow.

For the past two years, I've had the privilege of volunteering with this small, home-based cat rescue in Birkenhead. What I've witnessed has been nothing short of extraordinary.

For over 20 years, this rescue has been held together by one person who simply never stopped showing up. Feeding, cleaning, rescuing, transporting, vet visits, late nights, difficult decisions, and then doing it all again the next day. Through dedication, compassion, and sheer determination, hundreds of cats and kittens have been given a second chance.

Like many grassroots charities, the need is constant and the operational costs are significant. Food, litter, veterinary care, medications, desexing, transport, and daily care all add up quickly.

Yoga teaches us that kindness is not simply something we feel but something we can bring to the level of the senses and express.

If you're joining us for International Yoga Day, there will be an opportunity to contribute to Brave Paws Animal Rescue. If you can't attend but would still like to support their work, donations of any size are deeply appreciated.

By coming together as a community, we can help ensure this important work continues for the cats and kittens who have nowhere else to go.

Allergy season is here again!

Airborne pollen from grass is particularly lightweight and can blow a long way. New Zealand’s windy climate combined with large areas covered in grass, means even those living in urban areas can still be exposed to grass pollen. But its not all tissues and tantrums!

We don't need to add more to our practice but to develop the ability to extract more from it. Take the sun salutation - Surya Namaskara sequence for example. Here's one sequence that will grow and evolve with you. Moving beyond physical mechanics to encompass, breath & energy and mental components. Each posture becomes an archetypal force to tap, a mudra to embody.
There is simply no way to get bored or tired of this sequence as you explore its depth.
