Do you wish you had been given clearer information about your body growing up?
Were some topics difficult to talk about?
Do you sometimes have sexual health questions but aren’t sure who to ask?
Have these gaps ever affected your confidence, wellbeing, and relationships?
Would you value a safe, respectful space to learn and understand more?
If this sounds familiar, then this confidential, respectful, women-only programme is for you.
We encourage you to complete the expression of interest form in our bio for further information

We were at the NZ Halal show to promote mental health. We decided to foster connection between people by asking them what they admire about each other and the responses were beautiful! Enjoy these snippets!

Our office on 197 Universal Drive! This vision has been years in the making, so seeing it come to life feels like a dream.

The mission of Aleph is to create a safe space for ethnic minorities to access wellbeing support. This follows an increase in demand for therapeutic services for members of ethnic communities.

What does "Aleph" mean?
Aleph is the first letter of the Arabic alphabet, my mother tongue (written أ). The equivalent of the letter A. The name is an ode to the first letter I ever learnt, the start of my learning journey, a reflection of my heritage, and as a symbol of our continual writing of new pages in our stories as we grow and develop.

How does Aleph cater to ethnic minorities?
At Aleph, exercising cultural humility will be at the forefront of our work. We will navigate the difficulties you experience holistically alongside your beliefs and traditions. It will be safe to openly discuss spirituality without judgement, and to integrate your norms into therapy without transgression. You are welcome, whether you are a new immigrant, a refugee, an asylum seeker, or a part of the diaspora walking in two worlds (which I personally relate to). You also do NOT have to be an ethnic minority to access Aleph, if this approach sounds like it would suit you, then you are more than welcome.

At Aleph, I am offering therapy focusing on trauma, grief, adjustment difficulties, depression, and anxiety, with the hope of including further services as we grow. Currently, I can offer therapy in English and Arabic.

How to access Aleph:
Aleph is based in Henderson, Auckland. Located on 197 Universal Drive, right next to the wonderful Family Action. Bookings are by appointment only. You can enquire through [email protected] or +64224683704.
