VOLUNTEER WITH US (across four locations)

Looking for something that actually feels good to be part of? This is it!

As a Connect Group volunteer, you’ll be the person who helps others feel welcome, seen, and part of something - and you’ll get that right back. Think real conversations, genuine connections, and a space people actually look forward to.

No heavy admin, no stress - we’ve got that covered. You just come along, be yourself, and help create a vibe where people feel comfortable to connect.

If you love bringing people together and want to be part of something meaningful, we’d love to have you. And there's coffee and treats too!

For Youth Week NZ 2026 we’re sharing real kōrero from rangatahi living with concussion and brain injury.

In Aotearoa, young people aged 12-24 experience more concussions and brain injuries than any other age group.

Lots of people don’t even realise a concussion is a mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI), or know the signs, how serious it can get, or where to turn for help.

So this week, we’re sharing stories, dropping knowledge, and making info easier to access - because it shouldn’t be this hard to understand your own brain.

Headway NZ is here- shifting how Aotearoa shows up for concussion and brain injury, and connecting those impacted by concussion and brain injury with information, education, and support 💛

VOLUNTEER WITH US IN PUKEKOHE!

We’re looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to help co-ordinate the Pukekohe Connect Group. You’ll be the welcoming face of this local group - helping people feel comfortable and connected.

As relationships are important, it is vital that you can commit to one year minimum.
All admin and reminders are handled by the Headway team, so your focus is simply on people and connection.

If you’re someone who enjoys bringing others together and believes in the power of community, we’d love to hear from you.
