A game changer 🚗💚

“Your name is spot on … Freedom! The car was an absolute game changer.”

I saw one of your ads on a website just before having a conversation with ACC. They told me all the options for taxis, which were not going to work, let alone the cost of them, given how far away I work.

So, I asked, what about Freedom Mobility? They agreed that it was going to be a better solution.”

That’s why Freedom Mobility is about more than providing a rental vehicle. We’re here to help you stay mobile, independent and connected when your usual transport isn’t an option.

Because freedom is being able to keep living your life.

Getting where you need to go shouldn’t have to be complicated. ❤️

We recently followed up with Kirsty after her hand control car hire, and she was so happy with her experience.

“It’s been wonderful to be able to get the kids to school.”

“It’s been a godsend!”

We love hearing how our vehicles can help people keep doing the everyday things that matter, from getting the kids to school to staying independent and connected.

Thank you, Kirsty, for sharing your experience with us!

When the nearest town is 50 minutes away, suddenly not being able to drive is a big deal.

After rupturing her right Achilles tendon, Cherie found herself in a moon boot and unable to use the pedals in her usual vehicle. Living rurally, she needed something that could handle the local terrain too.

We matched Cherie with an AWD Subaru fitted with hand controls, delivered it directly to her home and spent time helping her feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel.

With support from Freedom Mobility and ACC, Cherie was able to keep her independence throughout her recovery.

For Fergus, learning to drive was about more than getting behind the wheel, it was about building confidence and independence. 🚗💪 We were proud to provide a hire car over several months to support him on that journey.

We now groom our vehicles in-house, giving our team even more oversight before each one heads out to a customer.

From cleaning the interior to making sure everything is tidy and ready to go, it’s another part of how we take the stress out of hiring a vehicle.

Because when you’re dealing with an injury, planning an accessible trip or arranging transport for someone you care for, the little things matter too.
