So saddened to hear about the sudden and unexpected passing of Ronald LaPread from the Commodores — an incredible bass player, musician, and friend.
This video was taken late last year at Wilde Records Recording Studios, featuring Ronald playing and singing “Easy Like Sunday Morning” on our old piano.
Ronald spent time at the studio with my daughter Faith Wilde and generously offered her a management deal. Although we respectfully chose not to move forward because Faith’s career was heading in a different direction, we will always appreciate Ronald’s belief in her talent, his kindness, and his support.
Much love to Ronald’s family, friends, and everyone whose lives he touched through his music and spirit.
Rest in peace, Ronald. Thank you for the music, the friendship, and the memories.

It's been a great weekend, two gigs at night and two full on days recording, no rest for the wicked. Here are a few photos of the drum recording session for the Connor Vazey Album project. AJ did a fine job on the drums and Rob Vazey, Connor Vazey and myself Jesse Wilde Music co-producing and myself as the audio engineer. This album is sounding awesome so far. Hi Friends, one of my favorite Studio clients Maddy South wrote an awesome sea shanty called 'Triton' and she asked me to sing it as a duet with her. She wrote this song about her father John Bell who had a great love of the sea. John loved this song and unfortunately he passed away a couple of weeks ago but we are so glad he got to hear this song before he passed. I produced and recorded this song at Wilde Records Recording Studios and we're so very proud of it. I'm so proud of my daughter Faith Wilde she Freakin' Rock's! I'm also so proud of the whole Band called 'Goodnight Faith'. Joel on Lead guitar, Sid on drums and Sebastian on Bass and Keys.They are all masters of their craft at such a young age! They Rocked out Studio last night for their Debut EP Release Party. We had this super talented chic in our studio yesterday. Grace Kelly is one of the finest singers I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Thanks for all your talents, helping out singing some backing vocals on the soon to be released Jesse Wilde & The Whiskey Angels album. I have been so blessed with all of the talented people helping me create this, my masterpiece album. I'm calling this Album 'Surrounded by Angels'.
