Comfort is something that comes from the inside.
If you spoke to me before I had our beautiful girl, I was happy to wear tights or shorts, but not tight tops because I thought I was ‘rollie’
During my pregnancy I wanted to his behind big hoodies and fat pants because I didn’t want people to see me get ‘big’ even though I was pregnant, my brain told me I was fat.
I’m now 7month PP and probably more comfortable in my own skin than I have ever been. I still have moments when I think I can’t wear something cause it squished in the wrong place. But these days I am happy to wear a crop top and short shorts.
I am proud of what my body has been through, good and bad.
My body dismorphia really doesn’t like me some days, and some days I have to really push through, that’s where I look for my comforts.
I love my oversized clothes, they make me feel safe. But I also know I can rock fitted clothing and be proud.
This may sound vain, but we live in a society where people judge us on our looks, so being strong in how we feel and look and feeling comfortable in our own skin is so important.
