What does belonging mean when you're growing up between cultures? 💛

After moving from Jordan to New Zealand as a child, Eman Ghandour spent years searching for a sense of connection and community.

That journey inspired her to create the Khawat Network, a sisterhood that now supports more than 300 women from diverse backgrounds across Aotearoa.

Music, friendship and wellbeing. We love to see it! 🎵💙

Good ‘n Tensions was formed when a group of friends started an amateur ukulele group, bringing them joy and confidence.

They're also using their performances to give back to their communities, by donating proceeds from their busking sessions to support mental health in Aotearoa.

The talented group is proof that music can bring people together and support our wellbeing.

"Music is an incredible healer, and we encourage others to find their own inner strength and courage, potentially through music."

🎶 Catch them live at the Grey Lynn Farmers Markets on 13 September and 25 October and show them some support! 💙

🎉 We’re celebrating one year of support from Storage King!

Over the past year, their charitable giving has made a real difference to our mahi. This relationship began when Storage King put its charitable giving to a staff vote, and employees chose to support mental health in Aotearoa.

From all of us at the Mental Health Foundation, thank you to the entire Storage King team for getting behind our kaupapa and helping us create a mentally healthy Aotearoa.
