A proud moment for Pharmapac!
We’re thrilled to have won the Excellence in Sustainability Award at the 2degrees Auckland Business Chamber Awards North & West.

Sustainability has been a major focus for Pharmapac for around 15 years. This award recognises countless improvements, meaningful changes and a shared commitment to keep finding better ways of doing things.

It’s also a celebration of everyone who has contributed along the way from our team members, past and present, to the customers, brands and partners who share our commitment to sustainability.

We’re proud to have stood alongside such an inspiring group of finalists and to see so many businesses creating positive change.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey. We’re incredibly proud of how far we’ve come and we know there’s always more we can do.

We’re incredibly proud to share that, in the first year we’ve entered the 2degrees Auckland Business Awards, we’ve been named a finalist for Excellence in Sustainability - North & West.

Sustainability has never been a box to tick for us. It’s part of the choices we make, the work we do, and the future we want to be apart of. To have those efforts recognised means more than we can say.

This milestone belongs to our amazing team, epic customers, partners, suppliers and everyone who has supported us along the way. Thank you for being part of our journey.

Packaging is changing fast. Tighter regulations, stronger consumer expectations, and a global push toward circular design are all shaping what the industry needs to look like.

Brands that get ahead of this now will be better placed to adapt.

We’ve been working toward this direction for years, investing in recyclable materials, sustainable manufacturing, and designs that are ready for where compliance and consumer expectations are heading. The future isn’t that far away.

Last week, we had the pleasure of attending the Natural Health Products Summit in Christchurch.

It was fantastic to connect with so many inspiring and passionate people across New Zealand’s natural health industry and to see firsthand the innovation, collaboration, and energy driving our sector forward.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by the Pharmapac stand to chat, catch up, and share ideas. We always appreciate the opportunity to connect.

Special thanks to Kerry Warn, Sheryl Coombe, and the entire organising team for delivering another exceptional event. The quality of the speakers, discussions, and networking opportunities made for a truly valuable few days.

Today is World Environment Day.

This is a reminder that the choices made in manufacturing matter.

For us environmental responsibility isn’t something we revisit once a year. It’s built into how we design, the polymers we use, and how we operate every single day. From introducing the worlds first plant-based supplement packaging to the New Zealand Natural Heath Products Industry back in 2017 to working towards zero net waste manufacturing (currently 95%), we’re committed to doing our part.

There’s a common assumption that doing the right thing for the environment means making trade-offs on compliance or performance. We’d push back on that.

Our packaging is designed to meet regulatory requirements across pharmaceutical, food, and personal care industries, while being manufactured with sustainability built in. The two aren’t in conflict. Done properly, they reinforce each other.
