The return of Yin & Cacao - https://mailchi.mp/34828a8a3691/3-months-at-body-restore-clinic-13914702
I write to you today, sitting in my garden with the sunshine pouring down, Angel next to me, barking at whatever she can. What a joy!
The weather has recently began to turn towards being cooler. My tiny (house) awakens in the morning with condensation on its windows and my breath is seen as I exhale. I am alive!
“I returned from Wellington on Monday after spending 4 nights there with a dear friend.
It’s been some amount of time since I’ve been immersed in city life. I enjoyed many things about it. The abundance of delish foods, great coffee, amazing stores filled with all the shiny things & unique clothing. Great memory making times with my friend plus enjoying Fat Freddys Drops’ 21st Anniversary Tour.
All of this is to share, that it took me a good few days to come back to myself. I don’t think it was until maybe Friday morning, that I started to feel more myself again.
It’s invited me to reflect on many things.
One of them being, the disconnect humanity faces.
I consider myself to be a very connected human. Feeling the subtle realms on the constant, and highly attuned to my being.
It felt like the city easily distracted me from that.
The materialism, the noise, lights, colors, EMFs, activity… All loud over my subtle senses.
My room at night felt loud and was bright. The security lights outside the complex beaming in, disrupting my deep REM sleep. The energy in the room, disconnected from Earths energy & filled with the frequencies of neighbors and city buzz. The first two nights were challenging to bring myself in & fall asleep. I had to wear my noise canceling headphones, and wrap my scarf around my eyes, so that it felt dark.
You know how people say when moving into a new home, on a busy road, or near a train track, “oh, you get used to it”. Sure in some ways we can choose to, but in others, I wonder if it’s a desensitizing of our being, to accept that we get used to something? The body is adaptable, and yes, it can get used to things, if we allow and choose for that. However, on the deeper subtle levels, I know something different.
The last two nights, I slept, sure. But I sure as heck missed my rural & peaceful tiny house. The difference being, I knew contrast. I knew that I had my chosen environment waiting on the other side for me.
How many of us choose our reality, because that’s what we know, or subconsciously, believe it’s what we’re worth? A question to ponder.
Now I know that there is an agenda to keep humanity asleep. And by asleep I mean, blinded by the reality of our origins and who we are. It’s in the food, our water, healthcare, the technology that controls many, and the conditioning in our schooling to name a few.
Once we commence our journey of awakening, and deconditioning the world that we know begins to look very different.
Returning from Wellington, another layer has been revealed. This peaceful existence that I have created for myself. Once upon a time, I may have questioned largely, begins to expand in making greater sense.
More than ever, it is louder to find your peace. Connect with your inner calm. Come to know who we are, outside of the life that we’ve carved for ourselves.
Why do you do the things you do?
Is it because you want to? Or because there’s a belief that you have to?
Often for many, there is an underlying belief of ‘having to’.
I have to go to work
I have to do this thing
I have to complete these tasks
Gotta keep up with everything that’s going on.
It’s subconscious… it’s a Root Chakra, primal, belonging, tribal fitting in thing.
My invitation for you, is to pause. Can you allow yourself to slow down.
Take some deep breaths, and rest in this space.
Breathe in this paused space.
How long can you pause here for, before you need to move, need to distract?
Can you allow yourself to simply be?
Be with what is?
Be with your thoughts.
Be with yourself, and all that is here.
This is the invitation.
Can you meet yourself here?
