Father’s Day is an opportunity to recognise and appreciate the many different roles that fathers and father figures play in our lives.
Wishing a very happy Father’s Day to all fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers and father figures who provide love, guidance and support.
We also acknowledge the men who are not yet fathers, those who have lost a father or stepfather, and those whose relationship with their father may be difficult or complex. Days like this can bring a range of emotions, and every experience is different.
Today, we celebrate the fathers and father figures who make a difference, while also keeping in mind those for whom Father’s Day may be a more challenging occasion.
