From a stroke to a shooting line

In September 2025, Jo had a stroke. She survived but the damage was in her visual cortex she came out the other side with cortical blindness. Her eyes work. Her brain can't read what they send it.

Big news! 🎯

Last year a stroke took her sight. This year she's aiming arrows at a target she can't see — and somehow hitting them better than most of us hit the things we CAN see. The goal? Representing New Zealand at the World Championships and bringing home gold.

No pressure, Jo. 😄

Good afternoon to all our awesome clients and customers, Jo here with a brief update. My vision is minimal but I’m focusing on getting better as fast as possible to enable my return to the business that has become my life and soul. I hope that the disruption hasn’t need to inconvenient and I know the OWC Team are striving to provide the same excellent service that you have become accustomed to.
