But here's what's actually happening underneath.
Your nervous system has been switched on for so long it has forgotten how to switch off. It only knows push, manage, hold it all together. Even when you sit down, your shoulders stay up. Your jaw stays tight. Your mind keeps running. You can't actually rest, because your body no longer remembers what rest feels like.
