A 10-year study from Flinders University followed nearly 10,000 women aged 65 and older to examine how coffee and tea relate to bone health.
Moderate coffee intake—around two to three cups per day—was not associated with harm, but drinking more than five cups daily was linked to lower bone mineral density.
Tea drinkers showed slightly higher hip bone density, suggesting a small potential benefit for aging bones.
