Extended Pharmacy Services are here at Remedy Pharmacy Riccarton! 💙

Starting today, we’re proud to offer funded Extended Pharmacy Services (EPS), helping make healthcare more accessible for our community.

Eligible patients may now be able to receive assessment, advice, and funded treatment directly from our pharmacists for a range of common conditions, without needing a GP appointment in many cases.

Services include:
✔️ Uncomplicated urinary tract infections (UTIs)
✔️ Emergency contraception
✔️ Conjunctivitis treatment for children
✔️ Head lice treatment
✔️ Scabies treatment
✔️ Oral rehydration support for children
✔️ Pain and fever management for children

This new Government-funded initiative recognises community pharmacies as an important first point of care, helping patients access timely treatment closer to home.

If you or a family member may be eligible, come in and have a chat with our friendly pharmacy team.
