the sun is out and I’m finally feeling a little more lightness in my soul and body again ☀️

the last week has honestly been full of mental tests for both Ash and I. tests of faith, tests of trust…. Ahh that trust thing! tests of continuing forward even when things feel heavy, uncertain or slow moving.

luckily I have a defined willpower centre in my Human Design so once I truly set my mind and heart on something, it’s very hard for me to stop. even through the doubt, the emotions and the challenges something in me keeps going.. a blessing or maybe a curse 😵‍💫

this little snippet is me simply practising. getting used to this space & learning to let go of control and allow whatever wants to come through, to come through. trusting the voice, trusting the feeling + trusting the frequencies.

but me and ash have something really special we’re building
and it deserves to be shared

and connection doesn’t happen

so yesterday we went out in the bush paddock on the farm, no plan or rehearsal ever.. (we don’t have any time to rehearse EVER.. busy homeschoolers here 🙋🏼‍♀️)

so today just tuning in and letting whatever wants to come through… come through

and today it really surprised me

it wasn’t soft or polished or “pretty” in the way I was trained
it was raw, guttural… and powerful
a voice I don’t usually let take the lead

and that’s the beauty of it!

when you stop trying to sound a certain way
and just allow the voice to speak
something deeper moves through

afterwards I always feel it
a sense of calm, balance, like everything has settled back into place

your voice is an instrument
a healing one

but so many of us have been taught to hold it back and to stay quiet
to believe we don’t sound good enough

what if that’s not true?

what if your voice is exactly what’s needed, just as it is

i’m still exploring mine
and it feels like a full spectrum
something different every time..

a whole colourful range of expression

this one… was deep. Let’s see what the next session brings aye ✨

First time doing this solo 💛 thought why the heck not…

I thought I would just give it a go without Ash for a moment
Seeing what comes through & what sounds want to move and not using my head at all

It is such a wild experience actually
When I come out of it, I feel like ‘woah’
A bit out of it and very expanded at the same time

I also usually come back with a headache… eeek but it was worth it

With the intention to bring through inner peace to anyone who listens

this page, omchanted is moving into a new chapter…
a redirection 💛

it’s been a while since i’ve shown my face on here
the past few years have been a lot… and i know we’re not alone in that

when we first created omchanted, it came from such a pure place
bringing people together through music that opened us and connected us

but then life shifted
pregnancy, being really unwell and stepping into motherhood with our beautiful boy, McKenzie

so much love… and also a lot of intensity, growth and very little sleep

behind the scenes, we’ve been raising our kids, living on land, growing food
and music had to find its place in the small gaps

but now… there’s a little more space again, well kinda..

and what we’re feeling is this
it’s time to create… differently

this next chapter is about supporting those who feel overwhelmed, sensitive, stretched by life at times

creating music that helps you breathe
regulate
and come back to yourself

meditation music
channelled sounds
healing frequencies
created with real intention

Lately everything feels… ahh, a lot 🫠
Even without watching the world or ever turning on a television, we feel it so so so deeply..

Our nervous systems have been stretched, sensitive, wide open.
As a reflector, Ash feels it all… and I feel it all… and together it moves through our whole family.

So we came back to nature..
Back to sound…
Back to something real.

A simple reminder… but one we needed just as much as anyone.

Because in this human experience, we move through fear, overwhelm, uncertainty.

Something you are
