International Yoga Day celebrates yoga as a practice of connection, balance, and wellbeing.
For me, it’s also an opportunity to honour the connection between Yoga and Ayurveda, two sister sciences that have supported people for thousands of years. While yoga helps us cultivate awareness through movement and breath, Ayurveda teaches us how to live in harmony with ourselves and the rhythms of nature.
As we welcome winter in Aotearoa, I’d love to invite you to a gentle Ayurvedic-inspired yoga class designed to bring warmth, grounding, and nourishment during the colder season.
After class, we’ll share a cup of warm tea, connect in community, and enjoy a slow winter morning together.
