Kia Ora Facilitator Training in Wairoa 💚

Health Hawkes Bay is proud to support Wairoa by training local workforce to deliver our Kia Ora Long‑Term Conditions programme. This training comes in response to clear feedback from the community that this kaupapa is needed.

Kia Ora is a FREE 6-week programme for people living with long‑term conditions. It supports participants with practical tools, knowledge, and confidence to better manage their symptoms and enhance their quality of life.

By growing local facilitator capability, more whānau in Wairoa, Mahia and surrounding areas will be able to access the Kia Ora Programme close to home — guided by trained facilitators who live in and understand their community.

This Kaupapa is about empowering individuals, strengthening community wellbeing, and making sure support is available where it matters most.
👉 If you or someone you support could benefit from the Kia Ora Programme, keep an eye out for courses coming soon.
