Daffodil Day blooms at Health Hawke’s Bay

This August, Health Hawke’s Bay proudly supported Daffodil Day with a month of bright, yellow-themed fundraising activities for kaimahi. Kaimahi got involved in a range of activities, including:

🌼 Guess the Jellybeans (yellow of course) — kaimahi took a guess and were in to win the jar.

💛 Raffle Basket — full of yellow goodies, with all the contents donated.

🌼 Daffodil Prize Trail — kaimahi donated and chose numbered daffodils to discover what prize they had won — was it a surprise or the b***y prize!

💛 Donation Challenge — kaimahi donated online and helped us work towards our fundraising target. Paper daffodils were added to our Daffodil Wall of Support.

🌼 Shared Morning Tea and Yellow Dress-Up Day — kaimahi wore yellow, brought something bright to share, and joined in the fun.

Every donation, entry, message, plate of kai, yellow outfit, and shared moment helped make Daffodil Day special. Together, we raised $720 for the Cancer Society.

Ngā mihi nui for supporting this kaupapa.

😷 Wearing a surgical mask in patient-facing settings is an important measure to help reduce the risk of transmission, protect vulnerable patients and their whānau 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 and support the hauora 🌿 and wellbeing of our healthcare teams.

Influenza like illnesses are circulating in our Hawke's Bay community.
