- 7 Years of The Green Room -

To say I’m grateful doesn’t even sum up my feelings towards how I feel about this milestone.

The Green Room was birthed in the early hours of a morning, nursing Florence and realising that I have a unique healing medicine that I need to share. An innate calling to take care of people. To heal through touch.

Fast forward to 2017, two babies later, a move to Hawkes Bay for a life seeking community, family and a home. This was where The Green Room could be born.

2019 was when courage and faith had to be found and the wisdom and medicine released to the world- well Hawkes Bay at least.

To the women who have found the time to trust me in holding space for them, taking care of your skin and soul, getting to know you, your family and friends. Thank you. Thank you for being here.

Here’s to 7 years through a pandemic, a cyclone, a recession and now an oil war. I’ll take whatever life has to throw at me and my little business because this is my wisdom and medicine that must be shared.

Happy Birthday The Green Room. And yes of course she’s a Gemini. Wasn’t planned that way though. Never is.

When in conversation recently with we spoke about the term clean beauty and labels.

🙋🏽‍♀️ I used this term constantly when I started The Green Room as it felt like it was a label that clients would understand what I and The Green Room was about.

7 years in and I’ve let go of all the labels when it comes to living, my business, skincare and everything in between.

They are made up terms and labels created by industries that have no real data, science or credibility behind them.

What I choose to use in my space, on your skin and on my skin are ingredients and products that have been intentionally created with quality, formula and efficacy in mind.

The products and brands I stand by are chosen because they work for you and your skin, creating experience and rituals so your skin and soul are fed with the best.
