What’s it going to take to get this to change?

Notice, there’s not a single other question had anything to do with weight of a person that is suggested here…

The point here isn’t about weight.

It’s that women have been conditioned to evaluate themselves before they celebrate themselves.

I was literally calculating evidence of capability, and the algorithm immediately redirected the conversation back to whether my body was acceptable.

Without any context.

I’m not here for it.

Your weight does not have anything to do with your worth, and I will die on this hill.

I couldn’t be prouder of these two 🥹🤍💪🏽 .fitness

Shameless hype girl, big sister proud moment post coming in!

Witnessing them both step on stage this past weekend to showcase all of their incredible hard work had me in tears on multiple occasions 🙌🏽

So much more than their placings (which still warrant a massive CONGRATULATIONS 🥳 and celebration), was witnessing their growth, commitment, dedication and discipline in the lead up to this, particularly in the past few months

It takes immense courage to even step out on that stage and be judged, yet both of them exuded confidence from the moment you saw them 🫶🏽

What was even more special was to see them go through this experience and support each other so beautifully!

As their self-appointed number support team leader I had so much fun inserting myself in their show days, helping run errands, play chauffeur, scream my lungs out from the audience and be the biggest hype girl you could imagine…

Not to mention fulfilling the special request for my world famous brownies to be made so they could have them as the first bite the moment they stepped off stage 🤣

Considering there was a point very early on in my fitness journey (we’re talking over 10 years ago now 😱) that I was planning on competing, it really filled my heart to live vicariously through them both and watch them kill it on stage

Needless to say I was exploding with pride the entire time! 🥹❤️

and .fitness I love you both endlessly and am so proud of all you achieved and I cannot wait to see what you both do next, I know you’ll continue to smash all your goals 🤍 xo

P.S. Enjoy some random BTS snippets of our GC trip, I even managed to squeeze some line dancing in 🤠(in true Sheree fashion)! And learnt very quickly not to wear a white tee to a bodybuilding comp or you will need to remove it to avoid stains haha! 😅

And before my neurospicy wellness nerds come for me…

I get it

You’re trying to understand your body.
You’re trying to connect the dots.
You’re trying to feel in control of something that’s felt confusing for a long time.

(and if this is you, comment LABS 🧪 for what to do instead)

So suddenly you’re:
- six tabs deep on Reddit
- comparing your ferritin to strangers online
- convinced your cortisol is “wrecked”
- and diagnosing yourself with 14 different things before breakfast.

The problem isn’t curiosity.
The problem is context.

Because your blood work doesn’t exist in isolation.
Neither does your body.

A “normal” marker can still be part of a dysfunctional pattern.
An “abnormal” marker can mean very different things depending on:

Your symptoms, your cycle, your stress levels, your nutrition, your training, your sleep, your history and everything else on your plate

Not to mention ‘normal’ ranges ≠ optimal ranges (and most things aren’t flagged till far too late because of this).

Information without interpretation creates panic 😱
Interpretation without context creates confusion 😵‍💫

And honestly? You don’t need more information ‼️

You need someone who knows how to zoom out and see the full picture without sending your nervous system into a spiral (or overloading you with a million more supplements 🙄💊
