Thank you to everyone who jumped in and flexed their intuition muscle with me! ✨
There were a fair few guesses!

And even if you weren’t bang on, you still did the exercise. You trusted that first little nudge, image, feeling or colour that popped in.
And THAT’S the real win. 🙌

The more we practise listening, the easier it can become to recognise the difference between the mind trying to work it out and that quiet intuitive knowing.

Sooooo… here’s the reveal!
Isn’t she beautiful! 😍✨

I’ve been doing a little rewind on the different psychic abilities, and today we’re looking at Clairvoyance
Clairvoyance literally means “clear seeing”. It’s the intuitive ability to receive information through images, colours, symbols, shapes or little flashes of inner vision.
Sometimes it can feel like you just see something in your mind’s eye without consciously creating it.

A way to flex this muscle is through visualisation and intuition. Try closing your eyes, quieting your mind and noticing what naturally comes through rather than trying to force an answer.

Soooooo… let’s have some fun with it 🤩
Guess which colour this is? 🌈

Don’t overthink it. Just go with the first colour that pops into your head.

Drop your guess below 👇

Let’s see what your intuition says!

Mōrena 🌿
At present, I will not be charging a surcharge on my ACC funded sessions.
Every practitioner’s circumstances are different, and at this stage my circumstances allow me to not do that.

The flip side, and the risk involved for me, is that if somebody doesn’t attend their session, there is no “no show” fee or payment that I receive.

Unless I charge for the session anyway, which would mean you receive one less session, and that just doesn’t sit right with me.

I know life happens. I’ve had to cancel appointments at the last minute plenty of times myself, and I would much rather have a last minute cancellation than a no show!

A last minute cancellation means I can shoot off to the gym, take my doggies for a walk, do my grocery shopping, visit some friends or whānau, catch up on some mahi, or just utilise that time in some way rather than sitting there waiting and reaching out wondering if you’re okay.

Sometimes a cancellation can also open up a space for somebody else, even if it is last minute.

I really just rely on a system of humility, understanding and communication.

If you can’t make your appointment, please just let me know. Things happen. I’m not here to judge you for it.

I just ask that you respect my time the same way I respect yours. 🤎

Would Gore like a regular ACC funded clinic?

I’m thinking monthly?

Gore has a special place in my heart being the town I grew up in!

Let me know if you want it I’ll make it happen!

Okay, we all need a bit of a break from the abundance of information that I have been casting out!
It’s all very exciting, but……admin isn’t my favourite thing to do

I have pulled three cards from my plant magic Oracle…. The deck tells you which plant and associated energy mother nature wants you to be working with at the moment!

Comment below which card/cards you resonate with and I will reply to your comment with the reveal!

Happy Sunday xx

This is a great question!
Actually, really easily.

This is a beautiful option for anyone who doesn’t want to jump straight into bodywork or face-to-face sessions, or for those who live further away.
These sessions are completely separate from talk therapy or counselling. They have more of a coaching and wellbeing vibe looking at where you’re at, what feels out of balance, where you want to go and what tools might help you get there.

We can kōrero, use kaupapa Māori oracle cards, explore wairua, set goals, and bring in things like breathwork, guided meditation (Best if you’re wearing headphones), movement, pressure points and grounding practices.

It’s about looking at you as a whole person, strengthening your mana and adding more tools to your kete!

There has been an influx of questions since ACC funding became available:

What is ACC funding?
What is the difference between the services?
Can anybody access them?
Do I need to be Māori?
Will it hurt ?

So, here’s a little unpacking. This is a LONG post! Okay there maybe the odd typo or spell error so bear with me please !

No two sessions look the same.
We will kōrero first, listen to where you’re at and decide together what practices may best support you on the day.

There are no ethnicity requirements to connect with these sacred Indigenous healing modalities. They are available for everyone.
Sometimes that might be Mirimiri.
Sometimes Romiromi.
Sometimes Whakawhiti Kōrero and meditation.
Sometimes Taonga Pūoro.
And sometimes, a little bit of everything.
The intention isn’t to “fix” you.
You are not broken.
The intention is to create a space where you can reconnect with what is already within you…your wairua, your strength, your knowing and your mana while gently exploring what your body has been carrying, sometimes our body is still responding to something our mind has already moved past.
Sometimes we’re carrying stories that began before us.

THE BODY REMEMBERS
We can carry experiences, patterns, stress responses, beliefs and ways of surviving that have been shaped by our own lives and sometimes by what has travelled through our whānau and generations.
The body can hold onto these experiences in the way we breathe, move, tense, protect ourselves and respond to the world around us.
This is where the healing mahi can create space to notice, understand and gently release what the body and wairua may have been holding.

In our sessions it’s powerful to sit in a space of rest and digest….activating our parasympathetic nervous system.
Some modalities offer deep tissue body work, with permission.
It’s my job to gain that from you, communicate with you and know when your body is saying no.
I will never ever hurt you, any deep pressure will be a team effort and treated with care.
Healing can be soft, and beautiful….

🌿 MIRIMIRI
Mirimiri is a holistic Māori healing practice that works with the mind, body and wairua.
Through touch and connection, we create space to slow down, release what the body may be holding and reconnect with yourself.
Depending on your comfort and what you need on the day, this may include oils, massage and hands-on bodywork.
The mahi can support you to become aware of where you are holding tension, heaviness or protection and create a safe space for the body to soften and let go.
This can also create space to work with experiences, patterns and trauma that may have been carried through our own lives or through generations.
Mirimiri may support you to:
• Release physical and emotional tension
• Reconnect with your tinana
• Create space for relaxation and restoration
• Connect with your wairua
• Gently release what you have been carrying
• Support and uplift your mana and wellbeing
• Feel more grounded, connected and restored

🌿 ROMIROMI
Romiromi is fully clothed and works with the body through gentle movement, pressure points and stretches.
But the mahi goes beyond simply working with muscles and joints.
Our bodies (physical emotional mental spiritual and energetic bodies) can develop ways of protecting us. We can tighten, brace, restrict movement or hold ourselves in particular ways without even realising.
Through movement, pressure points and stretching, we can begin to explore what we have been holding and support it to move differently.
This can create space to work with patterns of holding and protection that may have developed through our own experiences or patterns that have travelled through generations.
Romiromi may support:
• Reconnection with your tinana and wairua
• Awareness of where you may be holding tension or heaviness
• Gentle physical and emotional release
• Releasing patterns of holding and protection
• Grounding and centring
• Restoring balance
• Strengthening your connection to your own mana

🌿 WHAKAWHITI KŌRERO
Whakawhiti Kōrero is a space to come back to yourself through kōrero, meditation, reflection and connection with nature.
Sometimes we live our lives carrying stories that we haven’t had the opportunity to unpack.
Some are ours.
Some have been handed down.
Some have become patterns that we have simply learned to survive with.
Through kōrero, we can begin to explore the things that have shaped us including generational and intergenerational trauma, beliefs, behaviours and patterns that may have travelled through our whakapapa.
We can ask:
What am I carrying?
Where did it come from?
Does it still serve me?
What do I want to carry forward?
And perhaps most importantly:
What am I ready to put down?
Through meditation, kōrero and connection with nature, we create space to reconnect with ourselves and listen to what our mind, body and wairua are telling us.
From there, we can explore new tools, perspectives and ways of being that you can add to your kete.
This mahi can support you to:
• Understand yourself with greater compassion
• Explore patterns carried through your experiences and whakapapa
• Release old ways of thinking and being that no longer serve you
• Reconnect with your identity and sense of belonging
• Find clarity and perspective
• Build your kete of tools and knowledge
• Reconnect with nature and your wairua
• Uplift and strengthen your mana

🌿 TAONGA PŪORO
Taonga Pūoro, our indigenous instruments can be woven through a session using sound, vibration, breath, meditation and deep listening.
Sound gives us an opportunity to pause, listen and reconnect with ourselves, our wairua, our tinana and the world around us.
When we finally become still enough to listen, sometimes things that have been sitting beneath the surface can begin to come forward.
The sound can provide a space to feel, breathe, acknowledge and release, rather than continuing to hold everything inside.
This can be especially meaningful when we are working with experiences that have shaped the way our bodies respond to the world including patterns that may have been carried through generations.
Taonga Pūoro can support:
• Grounding and presence
• Connection to breath and wairua
• Stillness and reflection
• Emotional and energetic release
• Connection with Papatūānuku and our environment
• Supporting balance and wellbeing
• Creating space to restore and uplift your energy and mana

THE MAHI IS YOURS!
No two sessions need to look the same.
We will kōrero first, listen to where you’re at and decide together what practices may best support you on the day.
Sometimes that might be Mirimiri.
Sometimes Romiromi.
Sometimes Whakawhiti Kōrero and meditation.
Sometimes Taonga Pūoro.
And sometimes, a little bit of everything.
The mahi is not about fixing something that is broken.
You are not broken.
It is about creating a space where you can reconnect with your wairua, your strength, your knowing and your mana.
A space to listen to your body.
A space to explore what you have been carrying.
A space to understand what may have been passed down.
And a space to decide what you want to take forward into the future.

Come as you are.
Bring what you’re carrying.
Leave feeling lighter, balanced, reconnected and with more tools in your kete.

ACC-FUNDED RONGOĀ MĀORI
Today is a wonderful day!

I am incredibly humbled and excited to announce that I can now offer ACC-funded Rongoā Māori sessions.

If you would like to be on the list for these sessions, please send me a message and I will help clear the way forward for you, it’s a short process!

It is such a privilege to be able to do this sacred mahi and to help remove the financial barrier that has always been so important to me.

A huge mihi to Whiria Te Mauri for walking this pathway and then reaching back to take me with her, and to Native Wisdom for creating this opportunity.

I am so grateful for the opportunity to continue this mahi and make Rongoā Māori more accessible to those who need it.

Bursting with love !
Mauri ora
