Sprouty started with a pretty simple question:

What else could we do with the humble sprouted pea?

We sprout them, freeze-dry them until beautifully crunchy, then combine them with crispy onion and seasoning to create a topper you can sprinkle over everyday meals.

We’re still developing Sprouty in small batches right here in Invercargill—and that’s intentional.

Every batch helps us learn.

Every bit of feedback helps us improve.

And every person who comes back wanting another bag tells us we might be onto something. 💚

Something new has been growing behind the scenes at Crunchy… and our very first Sprouty batches are ready! 🎉

We’ve taken our sprouted peas, freeze-dried them for an amazing crunch, and created a delicious Salad Topper that you can sprinkle over salads, eggs, pasta, roasted veggies and plenty more.

Our first two flavours:

Then comes the growing, harvesting, packing and the work of our team to get fresh Crunchy products out the door and into stores.

We’re proud of how far Crunchy has come — but we’re even more excited about where we’re heading.
