l origin. Living Nature has also achieved the Whole Foods Market ‘Premium Body Care’ Standard, meeting their strictest standards for quality sourcing, environmental impact, results and safety. At Living Nature we use only certified natural ingredients, fragrance and preservatives. Our range is certified free from:

• Synthetic preservatives, such as parabens or phenoxyethanol
• Harsh surfactants, such as sodium, ammonium and lauryl/laureth sulphates
• Petrochemicals, including PEGs, paraffin and other glycols
• Silicones
• Mineral oils
• Genetically modified or irradiated ingredients
• Artificial fragrances
• Grain alcohols
• Phthalates
• Bisphenol-A (BPA)

When it comes to skincare, what you leave out is as important as what you put in. So we have a simple mantra: if there is any doubt about an ingredient’s safety, we will not use it. Instead, since 1987, we have researched and developed our own formulations to harness the power of New Zealand’s unique native plants. New Zealand has been geographically isolated for over 80 million years, in which time a unique flora has evolved. Over 80% of New Zealand’s plants are found nowhere else in the world. Many of these ancient plants such as harakeke flax, kumerahou, manuka and totara have unique bioactive properties, some of which are proven to be wound-healing on the skin.
