Pain, fever or dehydration? We may be able to help!

When your child is unwell, it isn’t always easy to know what they need - or whether it’s something you can manage at home or something that needs further medical attention.

Our Pharmacists can assess children experiencing pain, fever or dehydration and provide appropriate advice and treatment when suitable.

We can help with things like:

💊 Appropriate pain relief
💧 Recognizing and managing dehydration
👩‍⚕️ Identifying when further medical assessment is needed

We’ll take the time to ask about your child’s symptoms, assess what’s going on and help you work out the next best step.

Red, sore or sticky eyes? We may be able to help!

Conjunctivitis can cause redness, irritation, watering, grittiness and sometimes a sticky or crusty discharge - but not every red eye is conjunctivitis, and not every case needs the same treatment.

Our Pharmacists can assess eligible patients with symptoms of conjunctivitis and determine what treatment or advice is appropriate.

We’ll ask a few questions about your symptoms, how long they’ve been present and whether there are any warning signs that mean you should be seen by another healthcare provider.

Where appropriate, treatment can then be supplied directly from the pharmacy.

So rather than standing in front of the eye-care shelf wondering what on earth you need… 👀 Come and talk to us first! 💚

For eligible women with symptoms of an uncomplicated UTI, a Pharmacist can carry out a private assessment and, when appropriate, provide antibiotic treatment.

💊 Emergency Contraception
If you need emergency contraception, our pharmacists can provide a confidential consultation, discuss your options and determine the most appropriate treatment for you.

✨Both services are handled professionally, discreetly and without judgement, within a private consultation room ✨

If your symptoms or circumstances suggest you need further medical assessment, we’ll let you know and help point you in the right direction.
