Today is International Nurses Day, and I have been reflecting on my 25 years of Nursing.
Even though I am now working in real estate, those two and a half decades of nursing shaped exactly who I am today.
I may be helping families find lifestyle properties now, but I still use the nursing process every single day.
🧡 Nursing taught me to listen to what isn't being said.
🧡 How to stay calm when a house sale feels chaotic.🧡
How to advocate for people during huge life transitions.🧡
And how to hold space for the emotions that come with "moving on."
The science I learned matters, but the humanity nursing taught me is what helps me truly care for my clients.
Our skills as nurses—problem-solving, empathy, and resilience—don't disappear when we leave the ward. They just evolve.I am so grateful for my nursing journey and the heart it gave me for this work.
To all the nurses still out there: thank you for all you do. Your impact is greater than you know🧡
