Yesterday was a good day 🥰 It was the monthly free children’s clinic. We were blessed this morning to have Ollie join us from The Osteopathic Children's Foundation Hamilton. Gave us a chance to show him what we’ve achieved so far with your help

Being able to bring osteopathic treatment to families and kids who wouldn’t normally be able to access treatment brings us all such joy 🥹
Some days help us remember why we do what we do

This weeks reflection card - I am Whole 🍃
When I’m treating I am always seeking Wholeness 🍃 what aspect of this person before me is not working with the Whole … what part of them is sticking out like a sore thumb 🙃
Biodynamic osteopathy returns the patient to a sense of Wholeness and in turn themselves 🫶🏽
Need a pick me up ? Feeling out of sorts - my next availability is next week

Did you see the Hamilton The Osteopathic Children's Foundation clinic featured on Seven sharp last night? I just watched on demand, and I am feeling so proud to be part of a caring profession this moring. And extra proud and grateful of what we have achieved at the Hutt Valley Childrens clinic over the last 12 months 🫶
Thank you for all your continued support - Our initial fundraising campaign ends on 31st May - donate here to help us to bring treatment to kids who potentially wouldn't otherwise have access to osteopathic care

This course has been developed to continue to support your development of the perceptual journey with biodynamic osteopathic principles. Whether at the start of your perceptual journey or further along this course brings consolidation and a deepening of your unique relationship with the osteopathic legacy left to us by our elders.

Through the 4 days through the lens of Wholeness we will explore the topics of:
Polyvagal theory, the vagus nerve and brainstem, and its role in inflammation and allostasis.
Trauma and its impact on soma and the journey to Wholeness, including the modified or adapted form, autoimmune conditions and PTSD.
Neuroimmune axis, lamina terminalis, The Bird.

These topics will be explored with theory, practical applications, with hands-on treatments and case studies.
At the end of the course you will leave with a deepened understanding of mind, body, spirit connections, how the subtleties of these connections of the bodies systems impact how our patients present and treat and the beauty of the bodies inherent ability to remember The River of Life and the Wisdom that flows and guides each one of us.

“We look at the body in health as meaning perfection and harmony, not in one part, but in the whole.” A.T. Still
