Friends of Te Mome Stream A group of dedicated working towards the to the restoration of Te Mome steam and clean waterways in general. But, change is a foot!

The "little known" Te Mome Stream has had a sorted life and in most recent times it has not been good earning the reputation as one of NZ's most poluted streams. Although still poluted slowly a variety of fauna now call the river home. Our aim is to help the healing process with regular clean up days to remove the unsighlty rubbish that ends up in the stream and on it's banks. If you are interested in protecting and preserving our waterways we would love you to join us!
