Ever wondered what PV stands for? It’s Power Vinyasa—a dynamic, strength-building, and fluid style of practice that stokes your internal fire (and let's be honest, it's absolutely perfect for these colder winter days!). ❄️➡️🔥

Over this weekend of Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th June, our incredible teacher trainees are diving deep into this style for an intensive training weekend with the wonderful Sam.

To celebrate, Sam is stepping up to lead two public classes designed to challenge, inspire, and elevate your practice. Here is the epic weekend lineup:

🧱 Saturday 6th June at 9:15 AM: Stand Strong (PV 75 mins)
Join Sam for a dynamic Vinyasa class exploring single-leg strength, balance, and stability through creative, intelligently layered sequencing. This strong flowing practice will challenge coordination, focus, and control as we build progressively toward standing balances and unilateral postures. Expect a mix of grounding strength work, dynamic transitions, and opportunities to explore both effort and ease. Come ready to move, wobble, focus, and stand strong! 🦵💥

📐 Sunday 7th June at 8:30 AM: The Architecture of Flow (PV 60 mins)
An exploratory Vinyasa class focused on shoulder strength, scapular awareness, and upper body support. Rather than relying on repetitive Sun Salutes and automatic transitions, this practice investigates how we move weight through the hands, organize the shoulders under load, and create fluidity through intention rather than formula. Expect strong upper body work, dynamic movement pathways, pushing mechanics, and opportunities to build both mobility and resilience. 🗺️💪

We are continuing our beautiful first-of-the-month tradition, and this time, the wonderful Courtney will be guiding you through a blissful 75-minute journey of YinYang & Yoga Nidra.

Yes, we’ve shortened the session slightly to 75 minutes, but don't worry—it’s still just that little bit longer than a standard class so we can wrap up with a deeply restorative, special Yoga Nidra to finish. It’s the ultimate "reset" button for your week. 🧘‍♀️✨

Skip the traffic, forget the parking struggle, and sneak in a little pre-class warm-up! The council has just installed brand-new bike racks right outside our front doors.

Now you can cruise straight to class stress-free.

Two quick things to note:
🔒 Lock it up: Don't forget to bring a decent, sturdy bike lock to keep your ride secure.

Motherhood wears many different faces, and today we honour them all. Whether you are a mother, a grandmother, an aunty, a sister, or a daughter—your nurturing energy is what binds our community together.

Today, we celebrate:
✨ The Mums-to-be waiting with hope and anticipation.
✨ The Fur Mums and their unconditional love.
✨ The Mums who have lost, holding space for what is no longer in their arms but forever in their hearts.

This month, Courtney will be guiding you through this blissful journey of movement and stillness. We have also adjusted the class length to 75 minutes for this session.

As the seasons shift and the evenings grow darker, we are adjusting our schedule to help you get home earlier while still finding your zen. Starting in May (from Sunday, 3rd and Tuesday, 5th May), we’re making these changes permanent to support your winter rhythm:

🌙 Sundays at 4:00 PM:
Our Sunday afternoon session is now a permanent 90-minute Yin + Yoga Nidra. This is the ultimate way to ground your energy and prepare your nervous system for the colder months ahead.

🔥 Tuesdays:
* 5:15 PM: Hot Sampler (back to original time)
* 6:45 PM: Yin (Now slightly earlier so you can get home to your cosy slippers sooner!)

These updates are all about balance—keeping your practice consistent while honouring the natural pull to retreat and rest during winter.

Our Teacher Trainees are diving deep into the art of Yin, and to celebrate, we are hosting a weekend dedicated entirely to the "quiet side" of practice. 🧘‍♀️✨

We’ve adjusted our schedule from May 1st – 3rd to create more space for deep rest, long holds, and mindful release. If you’ve been needing a reset, this is your weekend!

🗓️ THE YIN SCHEDULE:

Friday 1st:
✨ 9:15 AM: Yin Yang Nidra (75 min Special) with Courtney
✨ 6:30 PM: Restorative Yin (Moving from its usual Saturday slot!)

Saturday 2nd:
✨ 5:00 PM: Yin Special (75 mins) with Maria
(Note: No Restorative class today—join us on Friday instead!)

Sunday 3rd:
✨ 4:00 PM: Yin + Nidra (90 mins) with Courtney
(Note: No 10:00 AM Hot Sampler today)

Whether you’re supporting our trainees or just looking to melt into your mat, these extended sessions are the perfect way to move into May.
