Hook Suspension........Does it Hurt ?........ I will get back to that, shortly.
Keith McEwen was a client, and over time a great friend, a very unique character. He would push thru with determination, any challenge he set for himself. Once up and suspended, he would shake hands with every one present and then decide if he wanted to hang for 60 or 90 minutes.
I had the absolute pleasure of realising all his 24 hook suspension sessions, and a few live piercing show performances. Never did he back out, even the time he attempted a chest suspension, for that he almost lifted off the ground. Concerned his chest would rip out, he demanded to take the hooks out and put them in his back for a su***de suspension.....10 minutes later he is up and hanging for 60 minutes.
Keith passed away suddenly in 2022. I miss him greatly, and ceased doing suspensions, out of respect for Keith and the memory of his sessions.
So.... "Does It Hurt?" YES...for a short time. A Broken Heart, Hurts a Lot more and for a Long Time.
