Hospice Wairarapa would like to sincerely thank the wonderful volunteers who lovingly created and donated woollen squares following the Wairarapa Wool Weekend. 🧶

Special thanks to James Herbison for generously giving his time and skill to stitch the squares together into these beautiful blankets. We are also incredibly grateful for the generous financial donation made in support of Hospice Wairarapa.

These beautiful blankets will provide warmth and comfort to our clients during times of need. 🧡

A key part of the day is making sure our entrants are well fed once they finish the course! That's about 120 hungry golfers who will be delighted with a scrumptious meal prepared by the clever and creative team at . 😋

We are running a Seasons for Growth course in Featherston in September.
Find out more and register below ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Seasons for Growth aims to build resilience and bring hope and confidence to adults who have experienced significant change or loss. Grief may be due to any number of experiences: bereavement, relationship breakdown, coming to a new country or experiencing a natural disaster. It may be a recent loss, or something that happened a long time ago.

The program is run across 4 weekly sessions:

Wednesdays 10am - 12:30pm starting on Wednesday, 2 September 2026 and running through to 23 Sept 2026
