It’s funny how often we fall in love with something… then build a business explaining why nobody else understands it properly. 😅
I’ve seen it in breathwork.
I’ve seen it in coaching.
I’ve seen it in wellness/fitness.
I’ve seen it in beauty.
And even churches / spiritual circles 😅
I’ve seen coaches call out negativity so often that negativity becomes their main topic of conversation.
It’s funny how often we try to prove we’re the light by pointing out everyone else’s darkness.
And if I’m honest, I’ve caught myself doing it too 🙈
What starts as passion can quietly become comparison.
We fall in love with a practice because it helps us. Then somewhere along the way, fear creeps in.
Fear of not being unique.
Fear of being overlooked.
Fear that what we offer isn’t enough on its own.
So instead of talking about what we do, we start talking about what everyone else is doing wrong.
The older I get, the more I trust people who don’t need an enemy. And I'm humbly becoming this person.
The people who can share what they love without creating a problem with someone else’s approach.
Because when we’re secure in what we offer, we describe ourselves.
When we’re insecure in what we offer, we compare ourselves.
I’ve done both. Which is exactly how I know the difference. 😉✨
This is just something I've been moving through deeply the last few years and I could finally put my words on paper! Let me know if you understand what I'm on about 😆
