A few years ago, at our original Christchurch studio, we started noticing something…
People weren’t just coming to O-Studio to take time for themselves. They were coming to connect with others, too.
So, we made a change.
We moved our staff room and transformed the existing space into our very first communal sauna area. It was small, fitting around five people, but it created something pretty special.
A place where strangers could become friends. Where conversations could happen naturally. Where people could show up on their own but still feel part of something.
Fast forward to today, and we now have O-Studio spaces with communal spaces that can fit more than 20 people.
But the reason behind them hasn’t changed.
We believe wellbeing isn’t just about how we care for ourselves. It’s also about the people we surround ourselves with and the connections we make along the way 💚
Because sometimes, the best part of your visit isn’t just how you feel when you leave. It’s the conversation you had, the person you met or simply feeling like you belong somewhere.
This Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re celebrating the power of connection. And reminding you that whether you come on your own or with a friend, there’s always a place for you here ⛵️
