GE (Genetic Engineering) Free New Zealand has a petition before Parliament - now open for signatures, but only until 22 July. This requests a pause on the Hazardous Substances and New Organism Amendment Bill until after the Government has undertaken public consultation on the proposed Regulations and Schedule 2-type exclusions.
