Rati's Holistic Yoga Classes | 2026

Tuesday Slow and Restore Yoga Classes

These classes combine gentle asana and mindful movement, deep stretching yin poses, followed by comfortably supported active rest (restorative) yoga. Then in a comfortable nest of bolsters and blankets, you will be supported to deeply relax.

This class delivers a thorough but simpler, floor-based yoga practice that is suitable for yoga newbies, those recovering from injury, returning to yoga or exercise or if a less intense or slower form of yoga practice is desired.

Thursday Holistic Yoga - Strength and Play

Thursday classes consist of both static and dynamic asana, intended to create strength, flexibility and playfulness. The practice is a combination of invigoration, challenge, restoring physiological balance, relaxation and breathwork.

As you move through the class, you will learn somatically about your body and wellbeing, looking from both a yogic-ayurvedic and western-anatomical framework.

The class is suitable for most people of moderate fitness and mobility (although please contact me if you are a complete beginner or you have an injury), with poses at gentle to moderate intensity and modifications offered to match your level of practice.

Kirtan and Sacred Song Nights - At Ruby Retreat from 7 pm to 8.30 pm on the 13th of June 2026

Kirtan is yoga for the heart - it can powerfully uplift, ignite connection to ourselves, others and existence itself, and foster deep joy in our hearts.

We chant and sing a variety of sanskrit mantras, with kirtan style varying from slow and meditative to upbeat and celebratory. Our combined voices are supported and ornamented with the harmonium, mrdanga or tabla drums and other gentle percussion instruments.

Whilst we honour and acknowledge the origin and meaning of the mantras, the sessions are non-denominational and intended to connect the participants at a human and universal level.

To support community and connection, you are welcome to stay a while afterwards to enjoy a cup of chai with likeminded people.

$10 Recommended donation.
All donations go toward grazing, feed and medical care for our small herd of ahimsa cows.

Facilitated by Rati Rupa Devi Dasi and Balarama, bhakti yogis and long-time kirtan practitioners of 20+ years

14-15/11/25 | Family Constellation Workshop

Freeing the love in the family.

An opportunity for you to heal your family of origin, by remembering members of previous and present generations, and bringing hidden dynamics to light.

Family Constellation Workshop is based on the understanding, that a family is a system of place and energy, and where we stand in that system is important. Love is the energy that binds and holds family and this love often gets disturbed and then lost. There may be times that we behave in ways that make no sense, we have symptoms that we don’t understand, feel feelings that make our lives difficult, struggle with people we love, see the pain in our inner family, and often feel pushed along by events beyond our control. In family constellations, we can see how specific members are linked to our unconscious ways. We can unravel stuck energy and negative ties that run families' behaviour and actions. Individuals can arrive at a place of deeper knowing and more peaceful ways of relating. Family constellation work produces a deep change in the feelings and attitudes of all family members from which further healing can come. This non-intellectual therapy applies to all cultures, gently and naturally adjusting wherever it is taken. It is a powerful and deep work that reaches beyond the personality level of living and touches the soul.

Participation as an auxiliary is also a very dynamic and healing experience and many people attend just to experience such. Each family constellation usually takes 1.5 hours to unravel and process.

The facilitator: Robin Woodsford

Over the last 40 years, Robin’s focus has been on the breath and the energy systems related to the emotional body. He has worked internationally as a trainer and practitioner of the fine arts of human relations (psychotherapy, breathwork, family constellation). He is still learning: "The more I know, the more I realise what I don't know". Robin is clear on one thing:

It is only LOVE and the energy of LOVE that binds us together in the end and in the beginning.
